How to build a five-minute evening note ritual

An evening note ritual works best when it is short enough to repeat. Instead of trying to document everything, choose three prompts: what felt good, what felt heavy, and what you want to remember tomorrow.

Keep the journal somewhere visible and pair the habit with something you already do, such as making tea or placing your phone on charge. The physical cue makes the ritual easier to repeat.

Consistency matters more than length. Five focused lines can be more useful than several pages written only once a month.
